This painting is part of the “Wall Scale to Small Scale” series, conceived as an exercise in which I work on canvas instead of the large-scale wall surfaces I usually paint. Shifting the concept from monumental scale to a more intimate format gives me the opportunity to explore a medium I am far less familiar with.

The concept for this painting was first developed for a mural on Calle Fuencarral, one of Madrid’s most vibrant and well-known pedestrian streets
